GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. — Road construction is bringing closures, gravel surfaces and lane restrictions across Grand Junction during the week of October 12, according to the city’s October 9 traffic advisory.

Crosby Avenue between West Main Street and American Way is closed with local access maintained. F ¼ Road between 25 Road and Zenith Lane is closed except for residents. On 25 Road between Patterson Road and Flat Top Lane, drivers should expect a gravel surface with two-way traffic.

D ½ Road between 29 and 30 roads is closed. Work at the San Juan Avenue intersection requires a detour using 29 ½ Road from D Road.

Downtown, Fourth and Fifth streets and Ute and Pitkin avenues have single-lane restrictions. Holiday-light work along the 200 and 300 blocks of Main Street is also underway.

Work near the Alcove includes a closure on 23 Road, with detours through Vista Grande and Columbine. Colorado Highway 340 retains two-way traffic with a 35 mph limit in the work area. South Broadway at South Camp Road has flagger-controlled, single-lane traffic.

Westlake Park remains open during parking-area maintenance. Conditions can change; drivers should check the city’s advisory for project details and updated restrictions.
