MESA COUNTY, Colo. — Mesa County sheriff’s deputies reported separate arrests in Fruita and Clifton, including the recovery of a stolen vehicle, in an October 9 release.

Deputies contacted Cody Cobb-Fields, 27, around 11:40 a.m. October 7 in the 200 block of Red Cliffs Drive in Fruita. The sheriff’s office said he had a felony warrant and possessed suspected LSD. He was booked on the warrant, a misdemeanor drug-possession allegation and a parole hold, according to the release.

Around 4:45 p.m. October 8, deputies investigated a stolen vehicle in the 500 block of 32 ½ Road in Clifton. The agency said Michael Degregorio, 35, of Grand Junction had the vehicle’s keys and more than 13 grams of suspected methamphetamine.

Degregorio was booked on allegations of second-degree motor vehicle theft and possession of more than four grams of a controlled substance. The release listed a $2,500 personal-recognizance bond on October 9.

Custody and bond details reflect the sheriff’s October 9 announcement and may have changed. These are allegations, not convictions; the defendants are presumed innocent.
